BOOK A FLU VACCINATION

In light of the risk of flu and COVID-19 co-circulating this winter, the national flu immunisation programme will be essential to protecting vulnerable people. There is no need to contact us about your flu vaccination as we will soon be contacting those patients who are eligible, by text messages, phone calls and letters for their appointment. Those most at risk from flu will be prioritised.

If you are 65 or older you can now book your flu appointment

Alternatively you can call Teldoc Flu Appointment Call Centre on 01952 661196.

In addition, this year we will look to vaccinate people in the 50 to 64 year old age group as part of our wider winter planning, however these vaccinations will not happen until November and December and providing there is sufficient vaccine. No appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This will ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50 to 64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from flu, you will be invited earlier.

This information can be found on our Teldoc website. Further information on those eligible for flu vaccination can be found on www.nhs.uk
